Apple is working on a new feature for iOS 19 that will make it easier to connect to public Wi-Fi networks in hotels, gyms, or offices, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman reported in the Power On newsletter.
The new system will automatically sync public network logins across all Apple devices. Once you've logged in for the first time on one device—iPhone, iPad, or Mac—users won't have to re-enter their login information on other devices.
iOS 19 is expected to be one of the biggest updates in years, and this feature will be part of a series of user-friendly improvements. The presentation of the new system will take place at the WWDC 2025 conference.
