Introducing Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro
Nothing has officially launched the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro. Both smartphones have received many new AI features.
The new products are based on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip and have a 6.77-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, protected by Panda Glass. The maximum brightness of the panel is 1300 nits. The smartphones are available in 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB versions.
The devices also feature a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The Phone (3a) Pro has a 50-megapixel periscope camera with an f/2.55 aperture and 3x optical zoom, which can be increased to 6x thanks to the TrueLens 3.0 AI function. The Phone (3a) has a standard camera with 2x zoom and a 50 MP 1/2.74” sensor.
The smartphones also have IP64 protection and a new Essential Key, located next to the power button. It serves to open the Essential Space storage, which stores numerous screenshots, copied images and other temporary files that can accumulate in the gallery over months.
The company's Glyph Interface is still present, but now it looks more concise. Special LEDs on the back panel can silently inform the user about incoming calls, messages and other events.
Both smartphones are equipped with a 5000 mAh battery that supports charging at up to 50 W. Nothing promises that the smartphones will be able to charge from 0 to 50% in 19 minutes.
The devices will have 3 years of OS update support and 6 years of security updates.
The Nothing Phone (3a) will cost €379 and will be available in white, black and blue. Pre-orders start today.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro will cost €459 and will be available in similar colors. Pre-orders will open on March 11.
