Insta360 introduces the first drone under the Antigravity brand with 360° shooting in 8K
Insta360 has introduced the Antigravity A1, the first drone under its new Antigravity brand. It features a built-in 8K 360-degree camera.
The drone weighs 249g and meets the regulatory requirements of most countries, making it easy for users in different regions to register it. The drone comes with pilot goggles and a controller that allow you to control the drone from a first-person perspective. Thanks to this, the pilot can see everything that is happening around the drone and record footage in 360 degrees. The Antigravity A1 will be released on the global market in January 2026.
The new product enters a competitive market already dominated by DJI, which last month introduced the Osmo 360, a panoramic 8K camera. Insta360 and DJI have been leaders in their segments for many years. According to SCMP, citing reports from Frost & Sullivan and Berg Insight, in 2023 Insta360 controlled 67% of the 360-degree camera market, while DJI had about 70% of the consumer drone market.
The development of the Antigravity A1 also fits into the Chinese government's low-altitude economy strategy, which encompasses both manned and unmanned aerial vehicles at altitudes of up to 1,000 meters and is considered a promising industry for creating jobs and stimulating innovation.
