According to the latest reports, Samsung is preparing to launch new wireless headphones Galaxy Buds 3 FE, which are likely to debut alongside the Galaxy S25 FE smartphone at the end of the year. Well-known insider Evan Blass showed on his page in X what they will look like.
As seen in the image, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE will feature a triangular "foot" design similar to the Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro. This means that the updated pinch control of the earphones will likely be included in this model. The earphones are also expected to support Galaxy AI features, including real-time translation mode.
Unlike the standard Galaxy Buds 3, which have an in-ear design, the new Buds 3 FE will get an in-canal structure with silicone tips, as implemented in the top-end Buds 3 Pro. This means that the new model will have at least good passive noise cancellation.
Other likely features include dust and water resistance, Bluetooth 5.4 with LE Audio support, audio equalizer, and support for the Gemini voice assistant.
Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Buds Core, a new budget TWS earphones that replaces the previous Galaxy Buds FE in terms of design and features. The Galaxy Buds 3 FE is expected to be an updated version of the Fan Edition line, closer in features and price to the main Buds 3 line.
