Pleos is scheduled to debut in the second quarter of 2026, and by 2030, Hyundai plans to integrate Pleos Connect into more than 20 million vehicles.
In addition, Hyundai announced its intention to introduce Level 2+ autonomous driving by the end of 2027. Level 2+ systems will allow the car to recognize its surroundings using cameras and sensors and make more complex decisions using artificial intelligence.
Regarding the Cloud Mobility ecosystem, Chang Song, president and head of Hyundai Motor and Kia’s Advanced Vehicle Platforms (AVP), said the ultimate goal is to bring together “all forms of mobility connected through software in the cloud.” Pleos Connect is the first step toward that goal.
