HoverAir has announced a new Aqua drone that can not only fly, but also float on the surface of the water.
The new product will be a continuation of the HoverAir X1 line. The manufacturer notes that the Aqua will be able to record video in 2.7K format at 30 frames per second. It will support GPS-free flight, gesture control, and image stabilization.
Other features include auto-takeoff, user-following, 90° shooting, and hover mode. The maximum flight time will be 11 minutes, and the charging time will be up to 40 minutes.
The drone will also come with a new compact controller, which could make it easier to use compared to previous models.
Thanks to its floating capabilities, Aqua can be used on beaches, lakes and during water sports, allowing you to capture unique shots from the surface of the water without the risk of damaging the device if it falls.
So far, the company has not disclosed the price or launch date of the HoverAir Aqua, limiting itself to a teaser and a brief description of the new drone's features.
