Helldivers 2 is out on Xbox Series X|S

Helldivers 2, a third-person cooperative shooter published by PlayStation, has officially been released on Xbox Series X|S. It is the first game published by Sony to appear on Microsoft's consoles.

Helldivers 2 isn't just coming to Xbox, it's doing it with style and a new collaboration with Halo. Players will be able to spread democracy across the galaxy with new weapons, including the MA5C rifle, banners, cloaks, and most importantly, the A-9 Helljumper and A-35 Recon armor.

In Helldivers 2, players will join a squad of "Helldivers" and free the galaxy from an alien threat. To do this, they will need to use a wide arsenal, including flamethrowers and turrets, enlist the support of up to three friends and go into battle.

Meanwhile, before the game's release on its consoles, Microsoft released a piece detailing the past events of Helldivers 2.

It's also worth noting that while Helldviers 2 was the first PlayStation game to come to Xbox, it's unlikely to be the last. As previously reported by insider Nate the Hate, Sony is planning to release more of its games on Microsoft's consoles, but it's unclear which ones. It's probably not worth waiting for a game like the modern God of War just yet.
