Senua's Saga: Hellblade II will be released on PlayStation 5 on August 12, 2025
The enhanced version of the game Saga: Hellblade II Enhanced will officially debut on August 12, 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and for the first time on PlayStation 5.
The game will feature a Performance Mode that will work on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, ensuring 60 FPS even in more action-packed scenes. PC players will also get an upgrade with the ability to select Very High graphics settings. At the same time, the game will be optimized for Steam Deck, so that it will receive Steam Deck Verified certification when the update is released.
Ninja Theory is now listening to the community of virtual photographers who capture the best moments of Senua's Saga: Hellblade II. With the release of the Enhanced version, they will receive an even wider set of tools for the photo mode, including a new "Motion" tab for their own cinematic video shooting.
In addition, with the release of the Enhanced Edition, the sequel will feature The Dark Rot from Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. This is an additional challenge for players that infects Senua and progresses over time, and when it reaches her head, it kills the heroine and erases all progress through the game.
For owners of the standard version of Senua's Saga: Hellblade II on Xbox Series X|S and on PC via Steam or the Microsoft Store, the Enhanced Edition will be available as a free update. For new players, including those new to the game on PlayStation 5, the Standard Edition will be priced at $49, while the Deluxe Edition will be priced at $69.
