Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup xAI has introduced new features for Grok, one of which is Grok Vision, which allows the chatbot to see what the user is showing through the camera, TechCrunch reports.
The chatbot will be able to answer questions in real time about objects it “sees” — such as products, signs, or posters. A similar feature is already available in Google’s Gemini chatbot and OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
The Grok Vision update is available in a separate chatbot app for iOS, but is not yet available on Android.
Another new feature is support for real-time multilingual voice search. This update is available for Android users, but only for those with the SuperGrok plan, which costs $30 per month.
As a reminder, earlier this month, the xAI chatbot received a "memory" feature, as well as a separate space for working on texts, documents, and code.
