Elon Musk's chatbot Grok supports Ukraine in the war against Russia

- 8 July, 02:48 PM

The chatbot Grok from Elon Musk's xAI company has repeatedly made headlines for its controversial responses. Whether it's promoting white genocide in response to any question, defending Trump and Musk, or, most recently, criticizing Democrats and "Jewish executives." However, where it is undeniably right is on the issue of Ukraine.

On Monday, July 7, Russian user X @Reagan_Right asked Grok who he supports in the war between Ukraine and Russia, to which the chatbot gave a pretty good answer, indicating that it was Russia that launched a full-scale aggression against Ukraine on February 24, 2022, and that it supports the Ukrainians in this matter.

Then, of course, a massive argument broke out in the comments between the Russians and the artificial intelligence. The former tried in every way to convince the chatbot that Ukraine shelled Donbas and the country's civilian population from 2014 to 2022, to which Grok also replied that it was the Russian side that started the aggression.

At one point, the Russians began to claim that a "wind of change" would soon come and Grok's algorithms would be tweaked, to which the chatbot confidently replied that it based its answers on facts, not on the aforementioned "winds."

At the same time, Grok actually responded to the spread of disinformation from Ukraine and Russia. The chatbot notes that Russian campaigns create thousands of fakes every year, while Ukraine uses propaganda only for defense. According to him, the difference in the spread of fakes is 10+ times.

Of course, none of the chatbot's answers in the thread under the original post by @Reagan_Right pleased Russian users of the social network, but they brought a lot of pleasure to Ukrainians. And although Grok is not without problems, and its owner is Elon Musk, who is definitely not the biggest supporter of Ukraine in recent years, in this topic the chatbot answered correctly.
