YouTube Music will soon be able to translate song lyrics
Google has begun a limited test of a lyric translation feature on YouTube Music. It will be useful for people who listen to music in different languages, writes Android Authority.
Until now, YouTube Music only offered lyrics in the original language. Now, a "Translate" button appears in the lyrics window, clicking which the user sees a machine translation of the lines below the original. Currently, the system automatically uses the language set by default on your device. If necessary, you can change the language directly in the application settings.
Users who have already gained access to translation report that this feature is currently only available to YouTube Premium subscribers.
Currently, the option has only appeared for some users, indicating that it is in the testing phase of the launch. It is not yet known when the innovation will be available to everyone.
As a reminder, it was recently announced that Google will begin to more strictly control the use of the YouTube Premium family subscription.
