Google may add a dedicated forum for gamers to the Play Store, Android Authority reports. The new section, currently under development, will serve as a platform for discussions and tracking of your own activity, including likes, comments, and posts.
Information about the forum was discovered in Play Store version 47.4.31-31. Currently, only part of the interface is available - the Your Contributions section on the Apps and Devices management page. It shows your own interactions with the forum: likes received and given, comments left, and posts created.
The forum will likely have a separate tab or section in the store. It is expected that users will be able to share their gaming experiences, discuss new releases, leave tips, and report bugs. This could simplify developer feedback with players and unite the gaming community within the Play Store.
There is speculation that this feature could be part of an expansion of the Google Play Games service, adding elements of social interaction to it. A launch date has not been announced, but the current level of readiness indicates a possible release in the coming months.
