Google is working on improving the way its Gemini AI copies text responses. Currently, users have to go through several steps to copy and share part of a response. However, a new update should make the process much simpler.
According to information from Android Authority, which they found in the beta version of the Google app, users of the mobile version of Gemini will soon be able to simply hold down on text and swipe to select the desired fragment. After that, "Copy" and "Share" buttons will appear, allowing you to quickly use the selected text. This innovation brings the copying process closer to the standard mechanism for working with web pages.
Despite the improvements, the new feature still has limitations: it doesn't allow you to continuously highlight text when you reach a bulleted or numbered list. Google is expected to fix this flaw before the official release. However, it's currently unknown when exactly the new feature will appear.
