The design of Google smartphones, like most competitors, does not undergo significant changes with the release of new models. And judging by the data of insider OnLeaks, this year we should not expect significant external upgrades from the company either.
For example, the CAD renders of the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL published in Android Headlines show the smartphone's appearance exactly the same as the current version. With dimensions of 162.7×76.6×8.5 mm, there is almost no difference from the Pixel 9 Pro XL (a tenth of a millimeter in height is unlikely to be noticeable). The display diagonal will also remain at 6.8 inches.
But the presence of an XL model suggests that the flagship will still be offered in two versions, which is good news for fans of more compact smartphones.
The situation is a little more interesting with the Google Pixel 10, images of which were also found by an insider. Like the current Pixel 9, the successor will have a 6.3-inch display and overall dimensions of 152.8×72×8.6 mm.
However, the camera block will undergo changes, which will "stretch" like the Pro models. And in the renders you can see an additional camera. It looks like a smaller version of the periscopic telephoto. Thus, the difference between the regular and Pro models will decrease a little.
It's likely not as capable as the Pixel 10 Pro, and the "younger" version won't get the ability to measure temperature and will have less RAM. However, the addition of optical zoom would still be a nice addition to the base Pixel 10.
The new Google Pixel 10 lineup is expected in August 2025.
