Google releases an app for Pixel 10 with AI features for journaling
During the presentation on August 20, where Google introduced new smartphones, watches and headphones, the company also released the Journal application for the Pixel 10. It will use artificial intelligence to help users keep a diary, tell about their day and make memorable notes about important events, writes TechCrunch.
The diary will use artificial intelligence models that run locally on the smartphone. The AI will suggest how users can describe their day, based on previous memories, posts, or goals they have set. In addition, the app will allow users to add photos, locations, and activities, as well as track their mood.
Google says the app will learn behavioral patterns based on users' writing habits and provide various statistics, such as their stated mood over a certain period, the longest post by character count, or when they typically post.
The Journal app will allow you to set up biometric or password protection to protect your notes from unauthorized access. It's currently only available on the Pixel 10, and the company hasn't announced when it will be available on other devices.
