Official: Google will add Gemini artificial intelligence to cars

Google has announced that its Gemini AI will soon be coming to cars. The new features will first be available in Android Auto in the coming months, and in Android Automotive later this year.

Gemini is gradually replacing Google Assistant and offers enhanced capabilities. In addition to standard functions, such as voice responses to messages or search, artificial intelligence will be able to provide more context. For example, a user can ask about a restaurant and find out not only the address, but also customer reviews, the atmosphere of the establishment and a description of the dishes. Gemini also integrates with Gmail, Google Calendar, Spotify and YouTube Music - for example, the AI will be able to find the location of a child's soccer match from a letter in the mail.

One of the main innovations is automatic translation of outgoing messages . The user speaks the message in their language, selects the recipient and language, and Gemini automatically translates and sends it. The feature will support over 40 languages.
