Google will remove 7 features from Google Assistant

But this is likely due to the discontinuation of support for the voice assistant by the end of 2025. The company plans to replace it with Gemini artificial intelligence, which can provide broader functionality.

List of features that will disappear from Google Assistant:

• Ability to add photos to favorites and get information about them using voice;
• Change photo frame or background screen settings using your voice;
• Real-time conversation translation;
• Birthday reminders: However, users can still receive reminders if they set them in advance.
• Ability to snooze or listen again to a family announcement from the Family Bell app;
• Receiving daily updates on a topic, such as the weather forecast;
• Google Assistant support on car accessories that have Bluetooth connectivity or an AUX connector.
