Google has released a separate Calendar app for the Apple Watch. This is the company's fourth service with support for Apple's smartwatch , after YouTube Music, Google Maps, and Google Keep, 9to5Google reports.
The app lets you view your calendar events and Google Tasks for the week ahead in a list format. The interface is simple: the current date is displayed at the top, and each event has a colored card with the time, name, and location. Tapping reveals additional details. You can't add new events or reminders from the watch.
Google Calendar for Apple Watch also offers two widgets (complications): the first shows the next scheduled event, the second shows the current date. Both open the app when tapped. A widget is also available in the Smart Stack.
The new client is being distributed with the iOS app update to version 25.24.1.
