Google's I'm Feeling Lucky button, which skips search results and immediately opens a random page based on a query, may soon be replaced with AI Mode, The Verge reports.
Many users on social media have started reporting that when they open the Google homepage, they see AI Mode, which replaces either image search or the I'm Feeling lucky button. In addition, the new AI Mode button comes in several different designs, such as just gray, or in the colors of the company's logo.
In early May, the company announced that a small percentage of users in the US would start seeing an AI Mode option in Google's search engine. This artificial intelligence-based mode responds to users in the form of a chatbot, replacing traditional search results with text-based responses and other useful elements.
