Google announces the second wave of an educational initiative, within which another 5,000 Ukrainians will receive free licenses for the AI Essentials and Prompting Essentials courses on the Coursera platform.
Registration is already open on the official website and will last until August 20, 2025. To participate, you need to go to the Google website, select an organization through which you can access the courses, fill out the registration form, and wait for an email from the selected organization or Coursera with further instructions.
Priority will be given to veterans, military personnel and their families, as well as women seeking to master modern technologies for career advancement. Individuals who applied in the first wave of the program may re-register, but will not have priority in selection.
The first course, AI Essentials, will help you understand the world of artificial intelligence and will be useful for both beginners taking their first steps in the field of artificial intelligence and specialists looking to improve their skills. The Prompting Essentials course will teach you how to communicate effectively with AI and formulate precise queries for better answers.
Participants will receive completely free access to both courses and certificates from Coursera upon successful completion. Each course takes less than 10 hours and allows participants to study online at any convenient time.
Additionally, an open webinar on "How to properly create queries for artificial intelligence" will be held as part of the program. On August 26, at 5:00 PM, all interested parties will have the opportunity to hear about the basic rules of prompting to obtain the desired results in working with generative artificial intelligence and learn how the Prompting Essentials and AI Essentials courses on the Coursera platform can be useful. You can join via the link without the need for registration.
This program is implemented through 10 partner organizations: Ukrainian Veterans Fund, Veteran Hub, EdEra, Kyiv School of Economics (KSE), NGO "Girls", GURT Resource Center, Inscience, Kharkiv IT Cluster, BO "Ukrainian Educational Platform" and ISAR Unity.
