Samsung has officially announced that Google's Gemini AI will be integrated into the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds series of watches. The company has not yet announced an exact release date, but noted that the update will be available in the coming months.
Importantly, while Gemini will be fully integrated into the Galaxy Watch, it won't work directly on the earbuds. However, Galaxy Buds owners will be able to use voice commands and gestures to access Gemini through connected devices like smartphones and tablets.
After the update, users will be able to ask Gemini to set reminders, provide weather updates, and even summarize emails, which will greatly improve the wearable experience, especially during workouts or situations when your hands are busy.
Samsung has not yet confirmed which models will receive the update, but it mentioned the Galaxy Buds 3 series, which could mean that older models will be left without Gemini support.
