Google will allow users to upload videos to its Gemini app for analysis by a chatbot. The new feature will work similarly to sending a link to a video on YouTube, 9to5Google reports.
After uploading any video, users will be able to ask the chatbot to analyze and summarize it in its entirety, or ask questions about individual segments or elements.
Gemini is downloaded via the "+" button and selecting a video from the gallery or files. If the innovation has already become available to users, they should see the option to download videos, otherwise only photos will be available.
The update is not yet widely available, and its availability depends on various factors, such as the user's personal profile or device.
We remind you that previously, Gemini also learned to analyze videos in Google Drive. Now the chatbot has the ability to perform scheduled tasks at a specified time.
