Garmin introduces new Venu X1 smartwatch for $799
Garmin has introduced the Venu X1, a new smartwatch with a 2-inch display and long battery life. The new product will go on sale on June 18 for $799.
The watch has a 2-inch AMOLED display made of sapphire glass with a resolution of 448 x 486 pixels, as well as an 8-millimeter-thick titanium case, a built-in speaker and microphone.
“The Venu X1 is the perfect blend of form, function and style. Not only does it pack all of Garmin’s most popular features into a slim body, but the large display makes it easy to see everything from preloaded maps and workout stats to health information and smart notifications with stunning clarity,” said Susan Lyman, Garmin vice president of consumer sales and marketing.
The Venu X1 also has a built-in LED flashlight and provides up to 8 days of battery life with the Always on Display turned off. The built-in microphone can also be used to start workouts or other actions. For example, you can use voice commands to start running tracking or set a timer.
