New details about the next generation of Samsung Galaxy Buds Core wireless headphones have surfaced online. According to 91mobiles, the headphones have been certified and will be the successor to the Galaxy Buds FE, which were released in October 2023.
The main update is the batteries. If the Buds FE had 60 mAh in each earbud and 479 mAh in the case, then the new model will receive 100 mAh in the earbuds and 500 mAh in the case. This, together with the new chip, should provide a significant increase in battery life.
There is also speculation that the Galaxy Buds Core will support Wi-Fi audio streaming, similar to the Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro. But such a feature could affect the price, which is currently expected to be at the Buds FE level ($99).
Most likely, the new product will be shown in July 2025, probably together with the Galaxy Fold7 and Flip7 foldable smartphones.
