Samsung Galaxy A56 users have started receiving the stable version of One UI 8 with Android 16
Samsung has started rolling out the stable version of One UI 8 based on Android 16 for Galaxy A56 smartphones. Users in Korea are the first to receive the update, SamMobile reports. The firmware has the build number A566SKSU2BYI5 and is already available for download.
The company stuck to its previously announced schedule: One UI 8 for the Galaxy A56 was scheduled to arrive in Korea on September 22, and the update became available on that day. In Brazil, the release is scheduled for September 25, and it is likely that the update will appear in other regions, including Europe, during the same period.
One UI 8 brings a number of design and interface changes, new features for multitasking, automation, and communication. The camera and Samsung Health features have been improved. There are also expanded tools for security and privacy controls. New features include updated permission controls, improved background processes, and performance optimizations.
Samsung has released One UI 8 for the Galaxy A56 after just two betas, indicating that the build is stable. Users can check for the update in the device's settings.
By the way, the flagship smartphones of the Galaxy S24 series also recently started receiving One UI 8.
