Figma Make, an artificial intelligence-powered tool that lets users generate ideas and prototype web applications based on natural language queries, has become available to all users, The Verge reports.
The new tool, which was introduced in May along with other AI features, will be available to all Figma users, but the functionality will depend on your subscription level. To access all the features, you need to be on the Full Seat tier, which starts at $16 per month. For those with lower tiers, Figma Make will be limited to drafts. Users will still be able to try out a demo of the tool, but they won’t be able to create anything real.
One striking difference between Figma Make and other similar tools, such as Google’s Gemini Code Assist or Microsoft’s GitHub Copilot, is the ability to add a link to a desired design. Users will be able to upload an image or Figma design into the tool and add a description of what exactly they want to create, such as an animated music player.
In addition, users will be able to use natural language prompts for additional settings, including text formatting and font style. There will also be the option to adjust these elements manually.
Any design elements will also be editable and have new functionality or changes added to them. For example, users will be able to hover over a certain button and ask the AI to add animation to it or animate a timestamp while a song is playing.
