New trailer for the Highlands Fishing expansion for Farming Simulator 25 has been released

GIANTS Software at Gamescom 2025 unveiled a new trailer for the Highlands Fishing expansion for Farming Simulator 25. It will add a new map of Kinlaig, game mechanics, features, and more.

The Kinlaig map is characterized by rocky valleys, harsh grasslands, and highland cattle. This windswept region, steeped in history, combines traditional agriculture with aquaculture. The map's architecture creates the conditions for new activities such as fish farming, raising, and harvesting, as well as the introduction of onions as a new crop.

In addition, the list of equipment is expanding with equipment from Momosem, Can-Am, Agri-Spread and GT Bunning, which will add variety to both land and marine operations.

The expansion will be released on September 4th for PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders are also available now. Players can also purchase the 1-year Season Pass for Farming Simulator 25, which will also include Highlands Fishing.

Gamescom visitors can now try Highlands Fishing at the GIANTS Software stand in Hall 6. There, the studio is also showcasing a huge 900-plus horsepower John Deere 9RX 830 tractor.
