EA has released the first trailer for Battlefield 6. The main antagonist of the game will be the private military company Pax Armata, which is waging war against NATO and its allies under the slogan "Our defense is your peace of mind."
Battlefield 6 is being billed as the "biggest war" in the series' history, with a focus on aerial combat, destruction, and class interaction. The game will feature an updated vehicle control system and a new campaign that explores the conflict between Pax Armata and international forces.
The project is being developed by a multi-studio team led by Vince Zampela, co-founder of Respawn Entertainment and creator of games such as Titanfall, Apex Legends, and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
According to EA's plan, work on the game is being carried out by many studios united under the Battlefield Studios brand - the project involves DICE (multiplayer), EA Motive (story campaign), Criterion Games (content and technical support), and Ripple Effect (development of Portal mode and new game modes).
Zampella and the franchise's development leaders emphasize that the current approach is aimed at creating a game with an emphasis on quality, studio collaboration, and open feedback from the community. The Battlefield Labs program has already been launched to test games in pre-alpha mode with player feedback.
An official release date has not yet been announced. On July 31, 2025, the company will show off the gameplay of the upcoming game, including multiplayer battles.
