MMO Dune: Awakening release delayed until June 10, 2025

Funcom has announced that it needs more time to properly prepare for the release of Dune: Awakening. Therefore, the game's release has been postponed from May 20 to June 10, 2025.

Funcom needs additional time to take into account the numerous feedback from closed beta participants. Owners of the Deluxe and Ultimate editions will be able to start playing earlier than others - already on June 5th.

Due to the postponement of the release, the developers will hold an "open weekend" in May, during which anyone can try the beta version of the game.

The developers have also released a separate character editor where players can create their own avatar and take the Gom Jabbar test - a test of pain. The created character can be transferred to the full version of the game.

By the way, in addition to PC, Dune: Awakening will also be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, but release dates for consoles have not yet been announced.
