Disney has released the first teaser trailer for the animated film Zootopia 2, which will premiere on November 26, 2025.
In the sequel, detectives Judy Hopps and Nick Krutikhvist take on a new case - a mysterious snake appears in Zootopia and wreaks havoc. To solve the case, the heroes go to new parts of the city that viewers have not seen before and face new challenges as a team.
The animated film is once again directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, the writers of the original Zootopia and Encanto: World of Magic . Bush is also responsible for the script, and Yvette Merino is the producer.
The original Zootopia was released in 2016 and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film. It grossed over $1 billion worldwide and became one of Disney's most successful projects.
