ZA/UM has announced the release of a reimagined version of Disco Elysium for Android smartphones. The studio's goal is to adapt the game for short sessions and reach the "TikTok audience," Eurogamer reports.
"We intend to captivate the TikTok user with quick hits of compelling story, art, and audio, ultimately creating an all new, deeply engaging form of entertainment," said studio head Denis Havel.
The game will move closer to a visual novel format, and the isometric perspective will be replaced with a first-person view for both dialogue and movement around Rivachol. According to the developers, this will make the project more accessible to players.
The game will be released in the summer of 2025, with the first 2 chapters available for free.
