OnePlus has officially announced the global launch date for its OnePlus Buds 4 wireless headphones. After debuting in China in May, they will become available in Europe, North America, and other regions from July 8.
The global version of the OnePlus Buds 4 will retain the "leg" design of the previous models and will be available in two colors - green and black. The headphones will have a closed design with silicone ear pads, providing passive noise cancellation.
The company has confirmed that the OnePlus Buds 4 will support high-quality Hi-Res Audio Wireless and LHDC 5.0 codecs and 3D spatial audio. The headphones will be equipped with two speakers - an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter, and they will also have dual DACs. Other specifications have not been revealed yet, but it is expected that like the Chinese version of the Buds 4, the global one will also have active noise cancellation at 55 dB, three microphones on each earbud, low latency mode for gaming and IP55 protection against dust and water.
Battery life without ANC is expected to be 11 hours, and with the charging case, up to 45 hours. In active noise cancellation mode, these figures drop to 6 and 24 hours, respectively.
The global model of the OnePlus Buds 4 will be launched alongside the company's other new products, but the price of these headphones has not yet been revealed. In China, it is 449 yuan (~$63).
