The creators of Silent Hill 2 Remake showed gameplay of their new game Cronos: The New Dawn
Polish game studio Bloober Team has released a new trailer for Cronos: The New Dawn. The trailer reveals gameplay details for the new game, which takes place in an alternative post-apocalyptic Poland.
Before Silent Hill 2 Remake, Bloober Team was known for narrative-driven walking simulators like Layers of Fear, Blair Witch, and Observer. However, following the success of Silent Hill 2, the developers announced that they were changing direction and planning to create more ambitious and interesting games in the future.
The new trailer shows off the various enemies players will have to face as they explore the locations. Mutants will have the ability to consume the corpses of the dead to become stronger, so players will need to avoid such situations.
The main character's weapon will not only be a means of protection against mutants, but also an important tool for moving around locations. In the trailer, you can see elements similar to telekinesis and a grappling hook that will help with navigation.
Cronos: The New Dawn will be released in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game will have text-based Ukrainian localization.
