Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo will be one of the characters in the fighting game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, which will be released on April 24, 2025 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Fighting game developers often add guest characters from other games or even movies to attract more players who may be fans of those characters. The most popular examples are the Terminator and Homelander in the Mortal Kombat games. In Tekken 8, such a character is the protagonist of Final Fantasy 16.
However, SNK – the developer of FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves – decided to go further and the first guest character of the new game will be the legendary Portuguese footballer. His weapon will be a soccer ball, and his fighting style will refer to soccer.
SNK is known for its arcade games, including Metal Slug, King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, and Fatal Fury.
