MacPaw has updated CleanMyMac X, adding a new Cloud Cleanup feature to clean files in iCloud, Google Drive, and OneDrive cloud services.
Cloud Cleanup scans your cloud storage for large, old, or unnecessary files. Users can delete these files completely or just desync them — meaning they stay in the cloud but are removed from your local drive, freeing up space on your Mac.
The feature works in two modes: automatic, which independently identifies unnecessary data, and manual, where the user selects the files themselves. In addition, CleanMyMac can send notifications about full storage or the appearance of "garbage" in the cloud.
The Cloud Cleanup feature is now available in the latest version of the macOS app.
