New leaks confirm that the Snapdragon 8s Elite processor will not have Oryon cores, unlike the premium Snapdragon 8 Elite.
According to insider @Gadgetsdata, the chip will be manufactured using a 4nm process and will feature one Cortex-X4 core with a frequency of up to 3.21 GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores with a frequency of up to 3.01 GHz, two Cortex-A720 cores with a frequency of up to 2.8 GHz, and two Cortex-A520 cores with a frequency of up to 2.02 GHz. Graphics performance will be provided by the Adreno 825 processor.
The Snapdragon 8s Elite is expected to score around two million points in the AnTuTu benchmark. However, in terms of specifications, this chip will be closer to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 than to the premium Snapdragon 8 Elite, so it is unlikely to see a significant performance boost over its predecessor.
