Bowers & Wilkins has announced its new PX7 S3 wireless headphones, which feature significant upgrades over previous models.
The manufacturer calls them the most advanced headphones in its line. The novelty has received completely redesigned 40 mm biocellulose speakers, which provide improved dynamics, reduced distortion and high sound detail. In addition, each headphone cup is equipped with a separate amplifier, which adds scale and energy to the sound.
The PX7 S3 supports aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless codecs for high-quality audio playback, and is equipped with an eight-microphone system for active noise cancellation, which is the most effective in the brand's history. The headphones have physical control buttons for ease of use, and also support settings via a mobile app. Additionally, the model will support spatial sound and Bluetooth LE Audio, but these features will be added via a software update later this year.
Battery life is up to 30 hours, and a quick 15-minute charge via USB-C gives you 7 hours of playback. The port can also be used for wired listening.
The headphones will be available in three colors: black, blue, and white. Pricing and release date have not yet been announced.
