BMW Group has reported a significant increase in sales of its fully electric vehicles, up 32.4% compared to the same period last year. The trend confirms demand for the company's electric models, including BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce.

Total deliveries were recorded at 586,149 vehicles, slightly down on the previous year. However, the company achieved growth in key markets such as Europe (6.2%) and the US (4.0%). Excluding China, growth was 5.9%, reflecting strong demand in other regions.

In the first quarter of 2025, the company delivered 109,516 electric vehicles, a significant portion of which was in Europe, where sales grew by 64.2%. BMW noted the success of its strategy covering all engine types and emphasized that the new Mini models were an important factor in this growth. In Europe, one in three Minis was electric, and in China this figure exceeded half.

BMW also achieved success in the electric vehicle segment, selling 520,142 units worldwide. Sales increased in all regions except China. The company recorded a 9.9% increase in sales of electric models. The M division also saw growth thanks to strong demand for the BMW M5 and M3.

The BMW Group plans to reach three million electrified vehicles (including both fully electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids) and deliver 1.5 million fully electric vehicles by the end of 2025.
