A video from the Battlefield 6 alpha test has surfaced online again
EA's Battlefield 6 developers have once again faced gameplay leaks after the company began accepting applications for alpha testing in February 2025. User @alisaad40002 posted a video of an F-16 fighter jet flying on X.
The leaks are likely the result of a hack or unauthorized access to alpha testing, which is frustrating for developers who are keen to keep details of the game under wraps until the official release.
In early April 2025, information about the introduction of the Skill-based Matchmaking player selection system into the game was leaked online. Players reacted negatively to this news, since in games with this system, priority is given to skills when selecting players, which can lead to problems with poor connection.
Battlefield 6 lead producer David Sirland addressed players via the Battlefield Labs private Discord server and stated that the quality of the connection will remain the main criterion for selecting players. He explained that having “skills” in matchmaking is an important element in creating balanced teams, but the system will not be too rigid.
