ASUS has unveiled updates to its ProArt laptop lineup and new Chromebooks at Computex 2025. The company is focusing on a more premium design and artificial intelligence capabilities.

The most interesting novelty was the ASUS ProArt A16 laptop, equipped with a 16-inch 4K OLED screen, a black aluminum case, a hidden hinge and a coating resistant to fingerprints and dirt. In addition to external improvements, the device also received powerful hardware - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics and an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX processor, which makes it a Copilot+ class of computers. ASUS emphasizes that the laptop is capable of running AI models without connecting to the cloud.

ASUS then introduced a couple of new Chromebooks – the Chromebook Plus CX34, as well as the Chromebook CX14 and CX15. The Chromebook Plus CX34 is a 14-inch Chromebook equipped with an Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM and a 1080p webcam. These specifications are more than enough to run Gemini features locally on the device.

The other two models, the CX14 and CX15, are equipped with an Intel Core N355 processor, 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256 GB of storage. The standard versions will have limited AI features, but the Plus versions will offer more advanced support. Both the 14-inch and 15-inch models have an HDMI port for connecting to an external monitor and are available in blue, gray, and green-gray with a matte or textured finish. The CX14 will also have a Plus version with advanced AI features.

The ASUS Chromebook CX34 is already on sale for $400, and all other new products will appear in the second quarter of 2025. The ASUS ProArt A16 will cost from $2,500, the Chromebook Plus CX14 will cost $429, and the Chromebook CX15 will cost $220.
