Apple is already working on new AirPods Pro, AirPods 5 and H3 chip — Bloomberg

After releasing the AirPods Pro 3 last month, Apple has already begun developing the next version of the AirPods Pro, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

It is currently unknown whether the new model will be called AirPods Pro 4 or whether it will be considered an improved version of AirPods Pro 3. The foodie did not elaborate, calling them simply a "new version" of "premium in-ear headphones."

It is also known that Apple is developing a new generation of the H3 audio chip for wireless headphones, which will provide better sound quality and lower latency. It is logical that this chip will appear in the next AirPods Pro, but Gurman does not say in which models the new product will debut and when.

By the way, Gurman also said that Apple is working on two versions of AirPods 5, which are unlikely to receive the heart rate tracking function like in AirPods Pro 3. At the same time, he noted that Apple plans to introduce several new health features in future headphones, including temperature measurement.

As a reminder, Apple is currently preparing to announce new devices with the M5 processor. These include an updated iPad Pro, a basic MacBook Pro, and an improved Vision Pro headset.
