Apple has released a new security patch for iPhone and iPad users

Apple has released iOS 18.6.2 and iPadOS 18.6.2 updates, which contain important security fixes.

The update can now be installed directly from the device's settings. For iPads that don't support ‌iPadOS 18‌, the company has also announced iPadOS 17.7.10.

This release comes less than a week after iOS 18.6.1, which restored the blood oxygen measurement feature on the Apple Watch.

The update is recommended for all users, as it is aimed at strengthening system security.

By the way, in a few weeks Apple will release the final version of iOS 26. So iOS 18.6.2 is likely one of the last updates to iOS 18.
