Ubisoft showed the gameplay of Anno 117: Pax Romana

Ubisoft has released the first gameplay trailer for Anno 117: Pax Romana, a new installment in the economic strategy series set in the Roman Empire.

The trailer shows the management of the province of Latium: building a settlement, developing the economy and internal governance. Players will be able to choose between a peaceful path of development and expanding influence through domination. The trailer also demonstrates the features of culture, architecture and economic mechanics typical of the series.

The Anno series is a well-known economic strategy with city-building elements that has been released since the early 90s. They attract players with a deep resource management system, complex production chains, and the need to balance economics, trade, and diplomacy. Each game takes you to a new era, from colonial times to the future.
