Anker has announced the EufyMake E1, a new printer that combines 3D printing and UV curing capabilities. The device, according to the manufacturer, is the world's first personal ultraviolet (UV) printer with the ability to create 3D textures.
The EufyMake E1 can print on over 300 different materials, including glass, wood, metal, acrylic, leather, stone, ceramics, and paper. It can print on both flat surfaces and complex-shaped objects like cups or bottles. Thanks to special software, creating 3D textures requires just one click of the mouse, and the height of the textures is determined by the colors of the image. The device is also equipped with a self-cleaning system JetClean, which prevents clogging.
The EufyMake E1 will be available through the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform, which will save backers up to $800. Shipping of the device will begin in July.
