At Computex 2025, AMD introduced new graphics cards based on the RDNA 4 architecture – the Radeon RX 9060 XT for 1440p gaming and the Radeon AI PRO R9700 for local AI model execution.

The new Radeon RX 9060 XT gaming graphics card will compete with the RTX 5060 and possibly the 5060 TI. According to AMD, it will be suitable for gaming at 1440p resolution, has FSR 4 technology and 8 or 16 GB of video memory. In addition, the 9060 XT received 32 compute units, 64 specialized artificial intelligence accelerators and 32 ray tracing cores.

The AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card is expected to be available starting in late 2025. The starting price of the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 8 GB is $299, and the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB is $349.

AMD also announced the Radeon AI PRO R9700, a new GPU built on the AMD RDNA 4 architecture with AMD’s second-generation AI accelerators. The R9700 features 32GB of VRAM and PCIe Gen 5 support, and is designed to run AI models locally.

The Radeon AI PRO R9700 also scales efficiently in multi-GPU configurations, expanding memory and compute power for large models and parallel workloads. The graphics card is expected to be available from leading motherboard partners starting in July 2025.
