Ajax Systems, a Ukrainian company engaged in the development of security systems, introduces a new product line, the EN54 Line, a fully wireless fire detection and alarm system for commercial and municipal facilities.
The line includes 15 devices and three accessories. At the heart of the EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller is a wireless fire control panel (FCP) for convenient control of fire alarms on the site. It is equipped with a 10.1-inch screen for monitoring the entire system.
It also supports intrusion protection devices according to EN 50131 (Grade 2). The wireless range is up to 1800 meters.
Other new products include the EN54 ReX Jeweller radio signal repeater, which increases the communication range between the control panel and system devices and supports both Ajax and Ethernet radio protocols. Up to five repeaters can be added to one control panel, expanding the coverage area to 35 km.
Although the control panel and repeater have terminals for direct connection to the mains, to ensure their uninterrupted operation during prolonged outages, Ajax presents EN54 Internal Battery batteries with a capacity of 5 or 10 Ah, which will provide an additional 24 or 72 hours of autonomous operation.
The range also includes EN54 FireProtect Jeweller detectors, which include addressable smoke and heat detectors, with or without built-in 85 dB sounders. They feature a patented smoke chamber with a dual-spectral optical sensor, HazeFlow 2 algorithm and a heat sensor with two thermistors, which allows you to record rapid temperature increases and exceed threshold values.
To ensure that people on site can clearly hear the alarm, Ajax produces the EN54 FireProtect Jeweller alarms, which offer sound and light signals that activate three seconds after the alarm. They have a volume of up to 100 dB and 32 signal types to choose from.
Then there is the EN54 I/O Module (2X2) Jeweller, which adds automation capabilities. The module has two inputs and outputs for connecting and controlling third-party devices.
Ajax System claims that each device in the EN54 Line can be installed in five minutes. There is no need to disassemble the case, and the device can be added to the system simply by scanning a QR code. The devices are configured in the Ajax applications for smartphones and computers.
