New program allows you to control the Ajax Systems security system from your computer

- 2 April, 09:11 PM

Ajax Systems has released Ajax Desktop, which brings the functionality of mobile applications and allows you to manage security directly from your PC.

Users can change the security mode of the entire system or individual groups, check the status of each device, receive detailed notifications about alarms and events, and manage access rights. If the system has photo verification devices or video surveillance cameras, all visual content can be viewed in a convenient interface.

In addition, Ajax Desktop gives users the tools they need to know what is happening on the site and respond to any events instantly. The video wall function, which combines video streams from selected cameras into a single interface, is ideal for the PC format and will provide a complete overview of any site. Users will also be able to customize and save video streams to suit any needs.

Ajax Desktop will also provide access to a video archive from any camera in the system. Users will be able to filter recordings by detected motion, objects, and events to quickly find the footage they need. Any fragment can be downloaded in just a few clicks.

In the event of an alarm, PC app users will receive a notification with a series of high-resolution images that can be viewed in detail on the PC screen. Notifications will also be sent about any other events – which device was triggered, where and when.

For privacy, the new app includes several data protection options. Users can confirm login attempts using two-factor authentication. All sessions will be logged, so users can see who accessed the system or ended a session.

The new program is available for Windows and macOS. You can download it from the official Ajax website.
