Apple updates AirPods Pro 2, AirPods 4, and AirPods 4 with ANC, adding features for content creation and improved communication.
The company announced new features for AirPods: studio audio recording and remote camera control. Thanks to the H2 chip, directional microphones and Voice Isolation technology, users will be able to record high-quality voice even in noisy environments - in Voice Memos, Messages, during calls and in third-party apps.
AirPods will also now be able to control shooting — just press and hold the earbud to start or stop video recording or take a photo with your iPhone/iPad. This will be convenient for bloggers and musicians who film themselves from a distance.
The features are available in beta versions of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe 26. Apple will release updates for compatible models in fall 2025.
Recall that Apple also introduced iOS 26 at WWDC 2025 with new Apple Intelligence features and an updated design.
