WordPress.com is introducing a new AI-powered feature, AI Website Builder. This tool will allow users to build websites using text prompts, allowing AI to quickly generate sites.
Artificial intelligence will use your data, which you enter during your chatbot interaction, and instantly create a fully developed website on the WordPress platform, ready to be filled with content, with texts, layouts and images. Once the site is generated, users can make changes on their own or through further interaction with the chatbot.
The AI Website Builder feature will be available for free during the trial period. However, to fully launch the site and make it available to other users, you will need to connect hosting from WordPress.com, which costs $18 per month.
The company says the new feature is aimed at entrepreneurs and small business owners who need a professional online presence without having to start from scratch, as well as bloggers, freelancers, and creatives who need to showcase their portfolio. Another use case that WordPress.com offers is the ability to quickly turn client ideas into reality for developers.
