Adobe has announced the introduction of artificial intelligence agents into its popular Photoshop and Premiere Pro apps, helping users perform complex editing tasks with simple text commands.
Photoshop will feature a new Actions panel that analyzes images and suggests contextual edits. For example, you can remove unwanted objects in the background or blur the background to create depth of field. Users will be able to make both automatic decisions and manually adjust layers.
Premiere Pro will get Media Intelligence, which will analyze video to create edit drafts. An AI agent will help you select frames, adjust colors, mix audio, and perform other tasks. This will greatly simplify the process for beginners and increase the efficiency of professionals.
The first agent for Photoshop will be unveiled on April 24 at the Adobe Max conference in London. Adobe emphasizes that artificial intelligence will not replace creativity, but will become a tool to expand it.
